Research shows that as many as 30 million American men experience sexual problems at some time in their lives. That’s a frightening statistic. Sexual problems—from a lack of desire to erectile dysfunction—can be caused by medications like antidepressants, anti-hypertensives, anti-ulcer drugs or cholesterol-lowering medications. The bedroom blues can also be triggered by an underlying disease, including heart disease that impairs blood flow to the penis or diabetes that injures genital nerves as well as decreasing penile bloodflow. But the most common—and the most under-reported—cause of sexual difficulty in men is estrogen dominance. Continue reading
