GMO Battle Heats Up

Recently, there’s been a flurry activity to prevent a new law from going into effect in Vermont.

You see, back in 2014 this tiny state was the first in the nation to pass a law requiring mandatory labeling of genetically altered foods. And it goes into effect in just a few months… on July 1st.

Of course, this sent Monsanto and the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) into a panic.

As a result, Big Ag supporters are scrambled to get approval for the DARK (Deny Americans the Right-to-Know) Act. This is a bill that would prohibit any mandatory labeling of genetically engineered food at both the state and federal level.

While it passed through the Senate Agriculture Committee, it stalled out in the Senate a few weeks ago. In a surprising turn of events, it didn’t gain the full number of votes that were needed to clear the bill.

However, there’s no assurance negotiations are over. In fact, they’re expected to continue in the hopes of bringing a new vote to the Senate floor at a later date.

So don’t think this issue has been put to rest. It hasn’t.

MD Exposes the Hidden Danger to Your Eyes

When your eyesight starts to fail, it's a real problem. Suddenly you can't go to the grocery store... you can't get to the doctor if you have an emergency... you can't meet your friends for dinner…

Your "regular" doctor doesn't have time to keep up with the latest research. And the same goes for eye doctors. They go to school to learn how to fit you for glasses and contacts, but have no way of preventing the damage and loss of eyesight that threatens your freedom and independence.

Let me show you something that explains a LOT about how your eyes work.

In my FREE Special Report, I'll show you a HUGE, untapped resource for your eyes that safely and naturally restores clear, effortless eyesight.

It’s already passed through the Senate Agriculture Committee. Now it’s on its way to the Senate floor for a full vote.

If you don’t have a problem with all of this brouhaha, you should.

Just consider this: The food industry is doing everything they can to convince you that GMO foods are safe. Yet, they don’t want you to know you’re eating them. This, in itself, speaks volumes.

And when it comes to the labeling issue, they have all sorts of tricks up their sleeves.

They’ll argue that printing up new labels will raise your food bill. But have you ever noticed that they constantly change their labels, anyway? Just phase it in with the next printing.

You’ll also hear these advocates say GMO labeling is a non-issue, because altered foods are completely safe. They’ll argue that the limited space available on labels should be set aside for health information and safety concerns.

The truth is, altered foods are NOT the same as those that occur in nature. They DO impact your health. And they ARE a huge safety concern.

The Chilling Truth about GMO Foods

Round-Up ready crops, which account for the bulk of sugar beets, soybeans and corn grown here in the U.S., are liberally doused with glyphosate-laden Round-Up.

While the rest of the world views this compound as a probable human carcinogen, our own government concludes that it “doesn’t pose a cancer risk to humans”.

Are You Suffering From...

  • Love handles and a pot belly
  • Romance that isn't what it used to
  • Forgetfulness and inattention
  • Low (or no) strength and endurance
  • A sex drive that's shifted into neutral...or worse

If so...you may have Mature Male Burnout.  Click here to discover more about this unique condition and what you can do about it.

But here’s the chilling fact. Glyphosate damages your DNA. It can cause cell damage and death at the levels found in Roundup-ready crops. Combined, this amounts to the perfect recipe for cancer.

But that’s not the only side effect of eating foods that have been drenched with glyphosate.

It also acts as an endocrine (hormone) disruptor in human cells. And it may even be a fueling the rise in gluten intolerance and celiac disease.

At the same time, glyphosate kills beneficial bacteria as it promotes an overgrowth of some very nasty and unhealthy bacteria in your digestive tract, like e. coli and c. difficile.

It interferes with the body’s ability to detoxify via its’ effect on the cytochrome P450 enzyme system.

It chelates out (binds and removes) critical minerals the body needs, manganese, and cobalt/iron for healthy red blood cells.

It leads to shortages in critical neurotransmitters and folate by interfering in the synthesis of something called aromatic amino acids and methionine.

And when you compare disease trends over the last 20 years, GMO and high-glyphosate foods have a very strong correlation with:

• High blood pressure
• Stroke
• Diabetes and metabolic disorders
• Obesity
• Alzheimer’s,autism, dementia and Parkinson’s
• Multiple sclerosis
• Inflammatory bowel disease and intestinal infections
• Several different types of cancer

Demand Your Right to Know

Today 64 countries already require mandatory labeling on GMO foods. The European Union… Australia… Russia… Turkey… Saudia Arabia.

For goodness sakes! Even remote areas like Greenland, Iceland and New Zealand have mandatory GMO labeling.

So stand up and speak out. Join the fight against Monsanto and the GMA.

Contact your own senators to let them know you want this bill off the floor – once and for all!

You can also support an alternative bill that recommends certain symbols be used on labels to indicate GMO ingredients. This is a nice middle ground that supports your right to know, but will need a flood of support to be taken seriously.
