Are you still putting genetically altered foods on your table? If so, this issue of Advanced Natural Wellness is a must-read!

Giant biotech firms like Monsanto consistently take the stance that genetically altered foods are “substantially equivalent” to non-GMO foods. And the FDA doesn’t have much to say about it… perhaps because the FDA Food Czar is a former Monsanto executive? They leave it up to the biotech companies to do all the research and decide whether these foods are safe or not.

Well, let’s be honest about this. GMO foods are not safe, particularly those that come from Monsanto’s Roundup-ready crops.

These crops are the result of money-making genius. If you’re a regular reader, you’ve heard me tell you about how Monsanto introduced an herbicide called Roundup back in the 1970s. Then, several years later, the company started selling genetically engineered seeds… with the explicit purpose of selling more Roundup!

That’s right. Monsanto created a suite of genetically modified crops that allow – even encourage – farmers to spray as much Roundup on them as necessary to get rid of weeds. And the foods from these crops are landing right in the center of your dinner plate.

Let me show you what this could be doing to your health…

MD Exposes the Hidden Danger to Your Eyes

When your eyesight starts to fail, it's a real problem. Suddenly you can't go to the grocery store... you can't get to the doctor if you have an emergency... you can't meet your friends for dinner…

Your "regular" doctor doesn't have time to keep up with the latest research. And the same goes for eye doctors. They go to school to learn how to fit you for glasses and contacts, but have no way of preventing the damage and loss of eyesight that threatens your freedom and independence.

Let me show you something that explains a LOT about how your eyes work.

In my FREE Special Report, I'll show you a HUGE, untapped resource for your eyes that safely and naturally restores clear, effortless eyesight.

The active chemical in Roundup is called glyphosate. This compound is bad news, because it damages DNA, causes cancer, and acts as an endocrine (hormone) disruptor in your body’s cells. Even at the levels found in Roundup-ready crops, it causes cell damage and death.

Well, today, I’m here to tell you it might be doing a whole lot more than that.

Just a few months ago some enterprising researchers took on a daunting task. They analyzed data on the growth of GMO crops for the past 20 years. They also took a look at glyphosate usage. Then, the analysts compared this data with disease trends in the U.S. over the past two decades.

The parallels they discovered will send a chill down your spine. It turns out GMO and high-glyphosate foods have a very strong correlation to:

• High blood pressure
• Stroke
• Diabetes and metabolic disorders
• Obesity
• Alzheimers, dementia and Parkinson’s
• Multiple sclerosis
• Inflammatory bowel disease and intestinal infections
• Several different types of cancer

How can GMOs and glyphosates be linked to so many different diseases?

Well, in addition to being a poison, glyphosate disrupts your body’s ability to detoxify itself. This means it can cause the toxic load in your body to build up over time. Eventually, the accumulation of toxins may reach a tipping point. That’s when disease sets in.

To make matters worse, glyphosates create an imbalance in your gut microbiota. It destroys healthy strains of intestinal bacteria, and causes overgrowth of some very nasty and unhealthy bacteria. These days we know that this type of imbalance is at the root of many chronic diseases linked to aging.

Glyphosate also acts as a strong chelating agent. This means it binds to essential minerals that your body needs, like iron, magnesium, zinc, and cobalt. These minerals are important for things like muscle function, nerve transmission, and immune health.

Are You Suffering From...

  • Love handles and a pot belly
  • Romance that isn't what it used to
  • Forgetfulness and inattention
  • Low (or no) strength and endurance
  • A sex drive that's shifted into neutral...or worse

If so...you may have Mature Male Burnout.  Click here to discover more about this unique condition and what you can do about it.

Glyphosate also affects the bioavailability of B-vitamins and the amino acid tryptophan. This can set the stage for all sorts of neurological disorders.

Talk about a huge health risk!

Now, get this… GMO crops have increased herbicide use by 383 MILLION pounds in the U.S. from 1996 to 2008. And today, 94% percent of soy and 89% of corn grown in the U.S. is herbicide resistance. Nearly all of these crops are planted with Roundup-ready seeds.

This is great news for Monsanto. But it’s not so good for you.

It’s estimated that about three-quarters of packaged foods here in the U.S. contain GMO ingredients. This includes things like soups, cereals, crackers, sodas and other foods that come in boxes, bottles and cans.

So, if you’re still eating “healthy” packaged foods, I encourage you to take a second – or even a third – look at those labels.

It’s easy enough to spot the words “corn” and “soy” on the ingredient list. You should also watch for some of the trickier names you might find. These include dextrose, vegetable oil, vegetable protein, dextrin, maltodextrin, monosodium glutamate and any type of starch.

When you see any of these words on a food label, it’s a good idea to place it back on the shelf and run in the other direction.

Here are a few more tips that can help you avoid putting this poison on your dinner plate…

Here’s something I’ll bet you haven’t thought about. If you’re eating commercial meats, poultry or farm-raised fish… well, there’s a good chance these foods also contain glyphosate.

The reason is simple enough: These animals eat feed grains made from Roundup-ready crops. So, whenever you eat foods from commercial farm animals, you’re getting a dose of glyphosate, too (among other things).

Your best bet?

In addition to reading food labels, always go grass-fed, organic, free-range, and wild-caught for your proteins.

As far as other food products are concerned, it’s always a good idea to look for foods that are certified organic or carry the “Non-GMO Project Verified logo . Foods with these labels are not allowed to contain GMOs, which means they should also be glyphosate- free.

These simple tips will help keep toxic GMO foods off your dinner plate and out of your diet, so you can enjoy a longer life with less risk of disease.
